Im new here and would like to know, off what year mustang could I get the pulley off of for my 88 5.0 and whats the difference between the 4 and 6 cylinder car?
I am assuming that you are refering to the power steering pulley. The 6-cylinder pulley is larger then the 4-cylinder pulley. I would try to find them off another '88, if possibly, but other years of Fox Mustang should work as well. I am running a 4-cylinder pulley on my car.
The 4-cylinder pulley is smaller than the 6-cylinder unit and will not slow down the pump as much. Low speed steering boost will be greater with the 4, power savings will be greater with the 6.

Ok thanks, but what are the pros of using a 4 cylinder pulley or cons?
