geoff u guyz used standard offset sn95 lca's on ur stang. my question is can i use the stamped steel versions of the same thing on my mustang and get the same benefits? im not using coilovers soo the factory ones are kind of my only option at the moment.these are wat im looking at http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/iwwida.pvx?;item?item_no=M3075D%20%2...
This control arm has a redesigned stamping to improve the turning circle approximately 10% on 1994-98 Mustangs.
So would it be even better for the Fox Body? That is to say, even better than a stock SN95 Lower Control Arm
The stamped steel version will give you the benefit of more negative camber and a wider front track. The wider track should also provide you with a bit of additional steering angle. and give you more clearance between the subframe and tire.
I don't think that these will provide as much angle as the tubular pieces, but they should provide more then stock.
One thing to remember is that we run a 500lbs/in coilover spring, which equates to roughly a 1000lbs/in conventional spring. This is probably more spring then you want to run, so I would go with a larger swaybar then what we are using with coilovers. (we are using the 4-cylinder bar)
soo they should fit without any major modification?
They should fit.
right on thanx geoff
