Have you guys ever though about getting a quicker ratio steering rack? or possibly one of those things that go on the steering shaft to change the ratio?
I know Geoff had discussed a linear steering rack. With the current amount of angle that's provided from lock to lock I don't know if the car warrants faster steering.
Its unecessary. With the relocated pick-up points of the outer tie-rod ends on the spindles, my cars steering ratio is faster than any typical mustangs. The only downside is when I ask crew-members to move the car (like onto the trailer), they're constantly over-steering the car, hitting things (like trailer fenders, etc).
What Dan said, modifying the steering arm gives you a quick enough ratio. The only acceptation would be if you have the stock 20:1 rack on your car, you might want to swap to the 12:1 rack.

the 12:1 from wich car
All the GTs have the 12:1, I think maybe all the 5.0 LX cars as well. It's pretty common. ~2.5 turns lock to lock is the quick way to check.
