05+ Suspension

Does anyone know how much of the 05+ suspension is interchangable to the Fox Body? I ask because of the Tein Coilovers available for them.

Just wondering really, as I'm sure the Eibach or KW Coilover kits would be cheaper than re-engineering everything for the 05+ to fit.

The 05+ Mustang Chassis is new as far as mustangs are concerned. Im almost positive that you are unable to interchange the parts. I may be incorrect though

Yup, totally different. Besides, Konis and Bilsteins are much better. The only really good thing about Teins are the "EDFC" (Electronic Damping Force Controller). Eibachs are bettter than Teins, as are KWs.

I'll probably go for the Eibachs (when I get to that point and/or have the money) since they are about half the price of KW. Has anyone had any luck with the Pro-Street Coilovers on a Foxbody?

I wanna say it was like $1600?? - and that was my price at cost? Cant remember anymore.
You can call Griggs (next week) and talk to Colin. Tell him I sent you, and he should be able to give you an accurate quote.

Here is a link to the Griggs parts for newer Mustangs.

I wish I had good information on spring rates for the newer cars, but I have never even been inside one, let alone spent any time learning about their setup. Maybe we can get Vaughn or Tony to give us some tips on setting up a newer Mustang.
