What you win:

How you win it:
It's simple, in 3 pictures of less, show us what you are doing to your Mustang right now. Run out into the driveway or garage and snap a few pictures and add them to this thread.
I'll get things started:
I recently moved that battery from the engine compartment to behind the passenger seat and removed more of the underhood bracing. Next up I plan to try out a set of 1993 Cobra underdrive pulleys.

If you need a place to host your images, sign up for an account at www.flickr.com, that's what I use.
Let's see some builds!
Too bad my VW doesn't count. :)
Mmm, saucy white faced red lit uncalibrated gauge cluster.
A crappy shot through the window of the new Takata's, safely mounted this time. In the back you can see all of where the sound insulation was that is now stripped, and also the back seat support is now cut out. I still have the wounds on my hand after using a bit grinder on it two weeks ago.
And one of my little track slut with the stock rims on for the (grip) track day.
TRACK SLUT!
painting it!
Yesterday and today I was cutting my front springs by 1 coil :) Just really sad that I don't have a camera. Will give some advices in tech article thread
awww man if only I had a camera last weekend when I ran some sea foam through the intake manifold... lol woulda had alot of smoke in the pics!
Well, I would take a picture, but being in PA, my Mustang in under a tarp which is under about an inch or more of snow and ice with the interior and miscellaneous parts scattered about the inside of the car. Does it still count?
This would be the last pic of the car while work was being done. (Didn't have a camera with me when I got the other rear end in it.)

Dude, hop out and snap some pics of the ice 'stang buried in the snow.
Latest mods... 2 inches of custom ICE aero.
:)
After getting it out of the shop after breaking the rim I had to repair the fuel leak that I caused when I ripped out the AC piping with two hose clamps and some rubber tubing. Then it was on to the radiator
and the electric fan.
What a pain in the a** the fan was to wire with the inferior connectors they provided. I wound up using some wire nuts instead. Looks good and works great! Next thing to do is get the guys at MA - Motorsports to install the off-road exhaust kit with side exits I have in storage. The old header bolts are rusted so I am going to entrust them with the install. Plus they are affordable. A little graffiti never hurt anyone, tag-it.

Are you running through 2 radiators or just the one in the trunk? How did you route the hose, through the engine bay or under the car? Your pulling fresh air from the convertable opening?
I see some sound deadening that wants to be removed.
Always doing something.
Waiting for panhard bar in the mail.
Adjust valve lash and replace spark plugs
Finish rear fire wall, I need to pop the window to get this piece in.
Get the old tint off the windows
Door panels
Hydro ebrake
Paint job
Panhard bar on and at first track day
If you notice the drag suspension. I have also been trying to stick this thing to the drag strip. 11.99 on motor at 118 mph and 11.55 on bottle at 135 mph. Could not get traction either time. I enjoy the 1/4 mile action, and the drifting. I will keep finding limits to the car and try to compensate. A pupose build drift car will come when the moneys right.
Ok if you want the full build I will be more than happy to post a thread in tech on it. But to make a long story short, it is my heat exchanger. 2003 Cobras are supercharged from the factory and run an air to water intercooler system to cool the boost. Well I upped the boost :) Stock is 8psi, I first raised it to 15psi and had to get a larger reservoir and fluidyne heat exchanger to cope with the really high boost temps…. In the 350deg range. Well I raised it again because to be honest I got into an hp trip for a while and the motor can handle it just fine. So now it sits at 19psi making 400+deg temps… WTF do I do now…. Build my own bigger (3X larger than any available on the market) heat exchanger. And its been on daily driving duty for a little over a year now. Fresh air is brought in through the now functional side scoops and pulled through the radiator with 4000cfm fans. Heat is evacuated from the trunk via several vents and openings. The fluid is run underneath the car through factory sized 5/8 heater hosing and NEVER crosses paths with the exhaust (never closer than 2 ‘) All it is for is the supercharger, the engine’s radiator is still up front. Oh I road race the car too and have track tested the boost temps in 100deg weather….. they are 150deg peak. I get all of the data from the diablo predator tuner and its live computer data logging. Plus it helped the weight distribution a lot moving the water to the back. As for the sound deadening… the car weighs 4,100 lbs with only a few gallons of gas and no driver… at this point its too little to worry about lol.

Rhythm,
Thanks, your setup makes much more sense now. I couldn't figure out why someone would mount a radiator in the trunk.
Anytime.
Little late but here are some recent pics from the past weekend on my 85' Coupe...
Welding the spider gears immediately after my "Junkyard 5-Lug Swap"
Then after taking the car out for a test bust the car died on me, I felt the car wasn't getting fuel so i went ahead and changed out the fuel pump
After finding out that my car still wouldn't start I almost gave up and finally remembered that I had 2 jack-stands and the jack itself in my trunk, and they must've hit my Inertia Switch. I pushed the button and she fired right up
Im fairly new to Drift50 and still trying to get the formatting thing right
Bustang,
Welcome to the forum. I'm glad you got the issue all figured out. It's always something really simple like that for me when ever I work on a car.
Don't worry about the formating, everyone gets an A+ for effort.
How is the weld'ed diff' working out?
Its working out great, i'm not getting as much chirping as I thought I would on low speed turns, which isn't a problem anyway since its not my daily. But as soon as I clutch kicked it for the first time, the car was def more predictable, i'd recommend it to anyone who's contemplating it.
here some of mine

lookin good. :D
Heres the projects I'm working on at the moment.
Installing the secondary calipers for the hydro hand brake (more info in the "tech" section under "emergency brake")

Rebuilding the blown motor (major head-gasket blow out) in my daily which is a 1992 grand marquies.... soo much goop everywhere.... poor little 4.6 :(

Currently drawing up design revisions on the super-cooler to add a second water pump, get better airflow, and make some more room.

I think I have a winner, Bustang.
The action shots of welding sealed the deal. I just can't resist the draw of an arc. Like a moth to the flame.
Bustang, email me your address (use the contact form) and I will send the Mustang model out to you.
Good job everyone else!
I was great seeing what you were all up to! There is one more to give away in the next contest. :)
Ya its nice to see what people are working on. We should have a project thread. My self will have lots going on in the next month or so!
Do you think everyone would like their own build 'blog' for their car? Or would you like just one giant community one?
true let me know and ill put pics from begining to now
I already have a individual blog below for my Mustang which I would love to transfer here. I think it would be nice to be able to see it under every user's profile.

I'll probably be up there tomorrow. I'll try to snap some pics of my "Trapped Under Ice" (Metallica song) 'Stang.

Here's the pic of the snow beast and the snow covered parts that I have to put on it.

Snow and ice sure does put a damper on a project when you don't have a garage.
