i know in these threads there is alot on weightloss. I weighed my car yesterday. With a full tank of gas, me in the car (185lbs), some school books, no rear seats, no spare tire or jack, and stock seats the car tipped the scales at 3040 lbs. i don't think this is to bad but i dont really know the weight of the car before i did anything to it. haha. again i am running the 2.3 Turbo. i would like to save some more weight and i would like to go with a tubular front end. wut other suggestions can you give me?
thank you for your help.
Here is a link to all the "free" weight mods I did on my Mustang:

I have not had it on a scale for a long time, so I have no idea what the car's total weight is right now.
alright thanks again.
And remember, it's not always weight, but weight-distribution. There are a LOT of cars in the D1 and in the upper echelons of drifting that weigh more than your car. They just spread the weight around a lot better than most Mustangs tend to.

Personally I'd polarize my weights. 50/50, or whatever variation you may subscribe to, is ideal, but if they weight is all in the center of the car then it's going to have some pretty ugly drifts. MR2's really have drift fail.
I don't know. There is nothing more rad than a 4 wheel drift into a corner.
ohhh ok. thanks. i have relocated the battery to the hatch of the car to help with the weight. and because of the plumbing of the intercooler i have no room for it up there. lol.
