....is f@cking awsome!!! finally got to see him drift in person today at the street life tour in dayton ohio.
unfortunately he placed 2nd, Nathan Brasz ended up taking first place.
in case there is anyone on this site who has never seen him before here are two vids from summit point, hopefully someone will post vids of todays event.
Cool videos. I had a chance to meet Doug at FD Irwindale, told him about the site, maybe he will end up on here eventually.
I first saw him when he demoed at the St Pete Grand Prix in 06. He needed more angle though, but awesome car

I know that the Blue S14 with the 350Z engine is part of Drift Brigade and the driver Dennis Mertzanis is FD licensed for '09. I saw him drift at a somewhat local show this Spring...he's awesome too.
As is, the orange S13.5 (PA Drifter) Matt Waldin....who I may get to witness first hand in a few weeks at a local event.

Doug is a great driver, and a decent guy too. I talk to Doug regularly and compare notes- don't be fooled, this is no typical Mustang. His car makes mine look like a demo-derby car. He personally has over $75k into his car, and uses all kinds of crazy-expensive things like:

Dog-Box
$1,000 250 Amp Custom Altenator
$2,500 Fuel pump System
What sucks is the more and more I progress, the more and more my car moves in that direction (expense-wise). Stupid drifting.... :-)
yeah, i was in aw over his turbo setup, i know theres alot of work and cussing in that car lol
