I've considered designing and producing my own- I do have an degree in Car design after all, but it'd take more than 15 guys wanting t-shirts for this to happen.

I would think if you made a batch you should be able to sell em at events. I could go for some, but I dont have acredit card anyway so no online ordering for me. If you do some stylish ones, I like DA clothing's look, and make it atlanta next year, I will be some for sure. Do some old school ford mustang vs a chevy camaro sideways looking shirts but give it a extreme sport look.

Ok, so now u guys got me thinking- this has been something I've always considered to help supplement my rediculous drift budget. Anybody looking for something besides Fox drift stuff (besides Mars5L). Just gotta think about how many actual Fox body guys would really buy a shirt- it'd take quite a few for it to even cover my initial setup fees.
THoughts??

What I'm picturing in my mind is something very basic, graphic. Picture my Avatar is a simple 1 color graphic indication of a Fox body drifting (minus the light bar). It'd have to start as something real simple before I get into full blown large screened graphics (like DAs stuff).

I wouldn't even go that far, from a design standpont, I would make it simple as possible.

dan i think that if you put a fox body sideways and put the red and blue behind it as in "American Drift League" i think that would be super ultra bad ass! just a thought me and my friends came up with. you know how other "regular" sports have like baseball and shit?

this has been a long running thing in the houston drift community. stickers and shirts. they are really popular items to sell at drift events and meets and such. if anyone has seen a www.dailydrifter.com sticker or shirt thats our local drift association. its a very good idea with proven results!

haha. Last things we need is more Mustangs without hoods. I need to finish editing the video from this weekend so you can all see that we took the hood off to try out a cool camera angle.

I believe that there are a lot more fans out there that would buy a shirt with a Fox body on it. There are a lot of people that are in the 30+ crowd that go to these events and I genuinely can't imagine them being thrilled with 240 after 240. At least half of them would love to see a latemodel on the track. It's the closest thing we've got to a classic American car competing with the exception of the Camaro that never made it big time. I was born in '83 and I remember vividly getting excited over Fox bodies and the exhaust note before i was even in my teens. I didn't even know what a 240 was until I got into drifting. I damn sure would have never looked at one more than once but the Mustang is an ICON! It has always been the Icon for the American Pony car. It's like apple pie and baseball. LOL. When you think of a Mustang you immediately think of a smokey burnout whether in a straight line or sideways. They just go together. You will sell more than you think. You might want to do the Mustang without the light bar though. That may alienate some folks. You can put me down for one for sure! LOL. Sorry about the speech.
