Drift Patrol at Willow Springs

This one is an oldie but a goodie. I finally went through the huge archives of video stored on my computer, found this clip and put it on youtube. I think this was from a Just Drift Top Drift Battle back in 2006. Dan was killing it on the Walt James Oval.
I remember this day- it was the highest of highs, and the lowest of lows.
I qualified first with those runs- then the car was overheating and running like a 200 year old cancerous mule in the eliminations. It turned out an overworked and tired alternator was having trouble keeping electricity to the fans, police lights, and motor all at the same time. I was out of the competition after the first round of eliminations- but atleast I had finally made an impression with the Mustang- it was no lnoger "just a gimmick".
